Started with chilli oil. Grown into a pantry.
A Qatar-based pantry shop that started with one jar of chilli oil and a short list of people who wanted it. The list got longer.

Spice Tribe is a Qatar-based business that began with small-batch chilli oil.
The range now includes Sri Lankan coffee, Sri Lankan cinnamon, whole spices and vanilla beans, alongside the chilli oils customers already know.
Small batches
Everything is blended and packed here in Doha, in quantities small enough that we taste each one before it goes out.
Whole, not ground
Spices are bought whole and sold whole wherever they keep better that way — cinnamon in quills, pepper in corns, cardamom in pods.
Origins we can name
The cinnamon and the coffee come from named growers in Sri Lanka, not from a commodity bag with a country printed on it.
Delivered across Qatar
Orders are arranged over WhatsApp and delivered anywhere in Qatar, usually within a couple of days.
Two kitchens, a few thousand kilometres apart.
The Sri Lankan side of the shelf — the cinnamon, the pepper, the coffee — is bought from growers we deal with directly, in the quantities a small shop can actually move before it goes stale.
Everything else happens in Doha: the chilli oils are made, filled and labelled here, and every order is packed by the same small team that answers the WhatsApp messages.
